Benjamin has a part-time residency in radiology at Odense University Hospital and part-time post doc position at the University Southern Denmark (SDU). He has a special interest in medical technology with focus on development, evaluation and implementing. He has a PhD degree (2015) within the area of telemedicine and medical technology. Within his PhD he managed – to date – to lead the largest randomized controlled trial within the field. His post doc focuses on Artificial intelligence (A.I.) and he is currently working with local and international companies including SDU. The A.I. research ranges from development of evaluation models to clinical trials with artificial intelligence. He has a unique position that combines clinical and research experience that is essential, when working with A.I.
Benjamin has written and contributed to Scientific Books and published works within the subject of medical technology and radiology. He is currently co – supervisor for three PhD students. He was by the Danish Council for Strategic Research chosen to present at the annual conference in 2014 due to promising research.
